June 25th 2026 | Hamburg
FLEETfor55 will be represented at the Leading Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum (LSSTF 2026) on 25 June 2026, with Dimitris Vlachos representing Project Coordinator (HYDRUS Engineering) taking to the stage as a speaker.
Dimitris will present on the acceleration of maritime decarbonisation through the integration of advanced Energy Efficiency Technologies (EETs) into both retrofit and newbuild vessel designs — with a focus on supporting regulatory compliance and improving the environmental performance of waterborne transport. The presentation will draw directly on the work carried out within FLEETfor55, showcasing the project’s progress in developing a comprehensive EET roadmap for the European fleet.
At the heart of his message is a fundamental truth for the sector:
“There is no single solution for shipping decarbonisation. We need a combination of technologies, fuels and efficiency measures.”
FLEETfor55 is working to identify, evaluate, and accelerate the deployment of exactly that combination.
LSSTF 2026 promises to be a forum for precisely the kind of forward-looking, cross-sector dialogue that FLEETfor55 is committed to fostering.
The session will be moderated by Kolja Harders, Head of the Foreign Trade Division at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg,
