2025 was a year full of progress for the FLEETfor55 project. Some of the key milestones include:
- Technical Analysis & Validation: Identified technical limitations, safety considerations, and risk issues across energy efficiency technologies, supporting workshops and decision-making.
- Platform Development: Defined initial platform architecture, developed data models, and integrated tools to manage and analyze technologies efficiently.
- Safety & Design Frameworks: Conducted comprehensive reviews of safety requirements, regulations, and technical challenges, laying the groundwork for future design development.
- Life Cycle Assessment & Cost Analysis: Established methodology and procedures for evaluating environmental and economic impact of technologies.
- Innovation Networks & Collaboration: Designed and expanded the Technologies Innovation Network (TIN), organized clustering events and workshops, and engaged the External Advisory Board (EAB) to ensure strategic guidance.
- Horizon Europe Synergies: Initiated early alignment with ongoing European projects and platforms to maximize knowledge exchange and project impact.
2025 has strengthened our foundation for next-generation port and logistics solutions, combining tested innovations, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic planning.
As we progress through early 2026, FLEETfor55 is building on this momentum, transitioning from groundwork to implementation with pilot programs underway and deepening partnerships across the European logistics ecosystem.
